Preliminary financial figures from Bosch Group indicated that the company made almost a €1 billion loss from its photovoltaic business operations in 2012.
The company noted that module price had decline 40% last year. Bosch was also expected to have exited the Desertec consortium at the end of last year.
Its subsidiary, aleo solar recently reported sales were down nearly 40% in 2012 and also reported separately today that its losses in 2012 were €74 million.
